15.18ct Natural, Earth Mined, Unheated and Untreated Natural Ruby GIA Report Laser Inscribed

This 15.18ct Octagon Cut (similar to Emerald Cut) natural ruby, is unheated and untreated, extremely rare for a natural, earth mined ruby.  Few buyers of jewelry know that, 95% of all rubies are either fracture filled with glass (lead), or treated with flux (healing) during the heat process.  This ruby is unheated and untreated.

The intersecting or criss cross needles, sometimes referred to as silk or rutile, can be seen with the naked eye.

This ruby is exactly as “Mother Nature” created it.

The color of this ruby is “Purple-Red” per GIA Report.

The GIA Report Number was laser inscribed on the girdle of the ruby, making positive identification possible for insurance and estate purpose.
