1.22ct Greenish Blue Oval Sapphire Laser Inscribed GIA Report Number

Gorgeous, unheated and untreated, natural sapphire, which will absolutely “knock your socks off!”

This stunning beauty is crisp and clean, having been cut by a lapidary in its natural state, entirely untreated in any way.  It is estimated that 95% of all gem quality  sapphire worldwide, are heat treated.  Heat treatment is an acceptable treatment, and helps to minimize inclusions and can improve color.  This absolutely gorgeous gemstone, did not require treatment or any other treatment.

I would describe the color as deep blue, with hints of green and aqua.  An absolutely stunning array of colors, which scintillate in both natural sunshine and indoor lighting.   A truly gorgeous mix of individual colors, which accent each other.

Though the shape is designated as “oval” by GIA Laboratory, I believe the shape might be thought of as a somewhere between a large round and a voluptuous cushion cut.  An absolutely stunning and gorgeous, high quality, natural sapphire!

The GIA Report Number has been laser inscribed on the girdle, by GIA Laboratory.  This makes positive identification possible, for insurance and estate purpose.
