One of Mother Nature’s rare gifts, this gemstone has been designated by professional and unbiased gemologist’s at GIA Laboratory as a “Color Change Sapphire,” changing from blue to purple.  Absolutely magnificent and truly rare!

This gorgeous gemstone is a “light carat,” appearing larger than its carat weight, as a result of a skilled lapidary who preserved every bit of this rare gemstone.  The dimensions are  6.30 x 5.66 x 3.14 mm!  Exceptional dimensions for a gemstone which is technically under one carat.  Absolutely stunning!

Additionally, this gemstone has not been treated in any way which is very rare.  Note:  Approximately 95% of all natural, earth mined sapphires have been treated with heat to improve their color and clarity (reducing inclusions).

GIA Laboratory has laser inscribed the GIA Report Number on the girdle of this gemstone, making positive identification possible for insurance and estate purpose.
